ADVENTURE & EXPLORE
Situated on beautiful Bundjalung Country, there is so much nature to explore in Byron Bay and surrounds.
Take yourself for a morning walk up to the famous Cape Byron (Walgun) lighthouse situated on Australia’s most easterly point – keep an eye out for whales, dolphins and the odd turtle. Back down at sea level, The Pass awaits with crystal clear water and some of the best waves for both beginner and experienced surfers. Heading out of town, you can’t miss a stop at The Farm – home to the cutest farm animals you’ll ever meet, along with the culinary delights of Bread Social bakery, Three Blue Ducks and Baylato. For the adventurous souls, Zephyr Horses offers unique trail rides that take you through stunning coastal flora and fauna. Leave the saltwater behind and head inland to explore the hinterland’s many waterfalls and bushwalks. Killen Falls is a 1km return bush walk from the carpark and is a beautiful spot for a freshwater swim, or head to the top of Goonengerry falls in Goonengerry National Park where you’ll find waterholes overlooking the lush green Wanganui Gorge.
